We are seeking Credit Hire and Recovery Handlers who come from an Insurance Claims background and Legal knowledge would be an advantage.

Position. Credit Hire and Claims Recovery Handler.

Hours: 37.5 per working week. 9am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday 

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience. A further £1000.00 to follow after completing a successful 6 months probation. 

Holiday Leave: 26 days, which includes one for your birthday + bank holidays 🙂

Work Location: At Woop we are focused on creating and providing a good work-life balance and therefore, all our positions are tailored around flexibility by combining working from home and at our friendly office environment in Suffolk and Essex. 

Role Responsibilities: To effectively and efficiently negotiate the best possible settlement with Third Parties and to gain admissions of liability, enabling early settlement of our customers’ claims.

You will achieve this through various communications such as telephone and email via our technology platforms.

You will receive comprehensive training from day one, with a combination of one to one learning and on the job application.

About you and what we’re looking for: 

  • Previous Credit Hire or technical experience is essential.
  • Knowledge of the MOJ portal.
  • Litigation experience preferred. 
  • You’ll have great relationship-building skills and share our passion for providing our best in class Woop customer journey services. 
  • You must be an empathetic listener who can adapt your style and emotional intelligence to get the best outcome for our customers. 
  • Demonstrate strong negotiating skills to achieve positive outcomes and results.
  • Work proactively and collaboratively to tight deadlines and take responsibility for your own workload.
  • Able to keep calm and show patience when dealing with challenging situations.
  • Be friendly, reliable, approachable, proactive, punctual, pragmatic and organised.
